Friday Dreamer Series: Turn Passion into Business – Vidi Labs Ltd.

Are you a budding entrepreneur? Want to know more about starting your own business and find like-minded folks who fit the bill? 

Join us with Lamia, the Co-founder of Not and COO of Vidi Labs Ltd., as she will share the early stage of her entrepreneurship journey. She will share with us on how to find her team, the challenges that she faced and tips on tackling them, etc. In addition, you could have a chance to recruit new members to during the OpenMic session and feel free to mingle with others afterwards while enjoying our refreshment.

Friday Dreamer Series aims to provide a relax and interactive environment where entrepreneurs can share their experience on various topics of entrepreneurship and start-up businesses, as well as to cultivate a start-up community in our campus. Students, alumni, faculties and staff from ALL disciplines are welcomed.

Speaker Bio:

Lamia, the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Vidi Labs, is a driving force in impact-driven business development. Her strategic prowess has led to transformative partnerships with organizations like The Hong Kong Blind Union and The Hong Kong Society for the Blind, benefiting 15,000 visually impaired individuals. Lamia's leadership has earned Vidi Labs multiple tech accolades and secured patent ownership through negotiations with industry giants. She was invited to the startup summit hosted by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, highlighting the global potential of Seekr technology. Lamia's contributions extend beyond Vidi Labs, with her Powerthru program empowering diverse high school students. Her remarkable achievements leave an indelible mark on both Vidi Labs and the communities it serves.

3. Please only register when you can make sure your presence. To ensure the efficiency of the event, a black list treatment will be deployed, lowering their priority in our following event.

This is a recognized event in the “ Personal Enrichment & Community Service" category under the "Self-directed Experience" of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. To receive 1.5 hours, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins. Students of HMAW1905 must register with their ITSC email.
