How the 1st Autonomous Vehicle in HK was Developed and the Developer’s Entrepreneurship Journey

Greetings from the Entrepreneurship Center!

We are excited to let you know that HKUST Professor Ming LIU will share how he led his team to create the First Autonomous Vehicle (AV Car) in Hong Kong!

Professor Liu has a strong passion for robotics.  His association with vehicle continued to grow as an undergraduate, which later led to his PhD research focusing on AI and its application in vehicle.  

In 2018, Professor LIU founded UDI, a startup which delivers intelligent products for the robotics, autonomous systems, smart logistics & transportation, high-end equipment manufacturing and information industries.

In this sharing, Professor LIU will share his creative journey in developing an autonomous vehicle and founding his startup to give back to the community.
